Spiced ‘Kofta’ Meatballs
Mmmm, these spiced ‘kofta’ meatballs are spicy, fast, and damn delicious. They’re a great meal, snack, breakfast, anything, and the spices give them an unusual twist. Eat as is (great on top of a salad or in a pita, too), or make a quick garlic yogurt sauce if you want to.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 2 tbsp Chopped Parsley
- 6 cloves Garlic, peeled + minced
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Ground Coriander Seed
- 2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1/3 c Grated or Chopped Onion
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Add all the ingredients into a bowl and stir very well, until everything is combined.
- Form into roughly 2inch meatballs. Place them onto a parchment-lined baking tray, and pop the tray into the oven.
- Cook for 14-18 minutes or until cooked through, and firm. Eat as is (great on top of a salad or in a pita, too), or make a quick garlic yogurt sauce if you want to.
